I’m currently based in Vancouver, Washington. I graduated with a degree in Biochemistry. I grew up surrounded by the mountains and natural beauty of Utah; hiking and mountain biking shaped much of my early life. I studied Spanish in school, spent two years living in Chile, and have traveled widely through Central and South America.Those experiences opened my eyes to vastly different ways of living -- from abundance to scarcity -- and taught me that those with the least materially often seemed the most content.
I’ve always been a solitary thinker -- drawn to how the world works and why people behave as they do, with all their contradictions, driven by a need to understand, solve problems, and learn. Over my 20+ year career, I’ve gravitated towards roles that mix engineering, marketing, operations, customer service, and finance. I’ve worked on both sides of businesses, as an employee for multiple people-focused brands and as a business owner who connected relationship experts with individuals, couples, and families seeking support.
I’ve long relied on a simple engineering principle: build systems -- technical, operational, and human --that are reliable and resistant to error. I focus on creating processes that run smoothly on their own so teams can direct attention to new challenges instead of repetitive maintenance.
Personally, I struggled with anxiety and resisted individual therapy for years, even while I participated in couples counseling. My marriage recently ended, and I’m navigating the world as a single co-parent with two active boys. This has marked a painful crossroads.Through individual counseling, meditation, and new spiritual practices, I am emerging with new clarity, self-awareness, intention, and resilience.
Meeting Raunak Sharma and joining Thrizer felt like a natural next step. His calm confidence, lack of ego, and mission to increase therapy access resonated deeply. I saw a mission I believed in. I saw a place where my background could support a bigger purpose: helping people access the mental health care they need. Thrizer gives me a chance to return to my roots: solving real problems, blending empathy with systems-level thinking, and helping build something meaningful.
