The new Thrizer Widget and Billing Workflows Improvements

2.3.2026

Release

We are restarting regular platform updates to share what we are building, why it matters, and how your feedback shapes the product. Thrizer works best when we build alongside the people who use it every day. This is a return to building in public, with more transparency and a clearer feedback loop.

You can expect updates like this every one to two weeks. Some will be small improvements. Some will be larger launches. All of them are driven by real clinician and client needs.

New this cycle: Thrizer Widget (now live)

We have launched the Thrizer Widget, a new way for clients to check their out-of-network benefits specifically for services offered within your practice.

The widget can be embedded into websites or shared via link, such as through email signatures or online community profiles.

In one simple flow, clients enter their insurance information and date of birth and receive an out-of-network coverage breakdown, including deductible status, estimated allowed amount, and expected copay after deductible. This helps set clearer expectations earlier and reduces back-and-forth before a first session.

You can use the Widget in a few different ways:

  • Embed it directly on your website so clients can check benefits without leaving your page
  • Share your unique Thrizer link anywhere you share your practice (directories, email, social)
  • Let clients check coverage for specific clinicians or services
  • Track engagement, including benefit checks and contact submissions

Improvements to everyday billing workflows

We also made several changes focused on reducing friction in common clinician tasks:

  • Refund a transaction directly from the specific client transaction
  • Export transaction history, including CSV format
  • Add new charges to clients from more visible, in-context entry points

These updates are about speed, clarity, and fewer clicks when you are managing client work.

What comes next

Many of these changes came directly from clinician feedback. We will keep sharing what ships, what is changing, and what we are learning along the way.

If something feels confusing, incomplete, or worth improving, please reach out. This feedback loop is core to how we build Thrizer.
